Jin Wu Koon represented Australia again at the world stage at Genting Highlands, Malaysia. This year JWK were able to send two teams to the World Championships (the second in partnership with team Cheung Keung). A total of 29 teams from 14 countries took part in the biennial event, which is into its 20th anniversary.
2012 marked the first year that reigning champions Kun Seng Kung were relegated to second place by another Malaysian team, Hong Tiek, in their first international competition.
Jin Wu Koon finished with a score of 5.59 due to two major falls, while Cheung Keung Australia scored a noteworthy 8.17.
